Performance Courses

Explore our range of performance courses! If you feel the urge to hit the stage and shine, you’re in the right place. Our performance courses are available at specific times on our timetable, so be sure to keep an eye out for our Showcase Performance Courses and the Competition Mentorship Programme.

Our showcases are in-house events where you can perform alongside your fellow pole mates and instructors! Get inspired by a variety of amazing performances and unleash your inner dancer.

POLE DRAMA

Level: Open

Pole Drama is a powerful and bold showcase course blending pole-art style with contemporary dance influences. Explore expressive choreography that combines fluid movement and pole tricks, with a focus on storytelling and group dynamics.
This course is open level, with tricks adapted to suit the group. Options, suggestions, and requests are welcomed throughout the process. While the music will be chosen in advance, there is flexibility in how the choreography develops, allowing students to influence movement choices and bring their own style.

 

Sunday 2.30pm on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st, 8th February

Barefoot only, do bring socks and knee pads just in case!

EXO DRAMA

Level: Open

Join the Exo Drama showcase course to explore movement quality, musicality, and personal style in heels. With a focus on basework and staying close to the ground, this course encourages moving with intention and flow, emphasising transitions, shapes, and expression rather than tricks.
This course is open level. Some prior pole or general dance experience is recommended, but there is no expectation to be a certain level. Choreographed by Suki, the process is collaborative, with space for students to give input, request movements or tricks, and adapt the choreography as a group.

COMPETITION MENTORSHIP

Level: Open

Embark on an exciting 9-week journey designed to empower and guide aspiring competitors in the art of performance. The Competition Mentorship Programme comprises nine 90-minute small group lessons, providing you with the time, creativity, and expert guidance needed to craft your very own competition piece.

Throughout the programme, participants will benefit from individualised support as they select their song, theme, concept, and choreography while exploring their unique style. 

​​

You can expect expert guidance as you work closely with a knowledgeable instructor who understands the intricacies of competition performance and is dedicated to helping you shine on stage. You'll love the community support as you connect with fellow pole enthusiasts who share your passion and are in the same competition journey as you. Customised Learning as each lesson is tailored to the participants' needs, ensuring a personalised approach that caters to your level and strengths.
